Kuma kagura is a sacred Shinto music offered as an oblation at the 43 shrines of the Hitoyoshi Kuma region, starting with the Kuma kagura of the Okunchi Festival at Aoi Aso Shrine. Unmasked dancers carry bells, swords, and other implements while dancing to the sacred songs.
