A shrine built in honor of the highest peak in the Hitoyoshi Kuma region, Mt. Ichifusa. Pilgrimages were made here frequently by all sorts of people, from successive generations of the Sagara clan to the common folk, who called the journey otakesan mairi. The shrine is about two-fifths of the way up Mt. Ichifusa.
